Re: Beige G-3, I have upgraded mine quite a bit, G-4 ZIF from Daystar, maxed out ram and vram, changed the cd into a cd-r/rw, installed a 120G hard drive, and have been happy. Now the bus speed seems to be the downside.

It was recommended I not put any more money into it. Well I like the old guy, but I was able to buy a used blue iMac via lemlist. Have it here, but not sure what I can do to it. I did not get the manual, and I seem to remember limits on upgrading. Will someone please enlighten me. I am looking for the manual if anyone has one.

I bought it for the faster bus speed, and now wonder if I should keep both systems active, or depend on the iMac. Words of wisdom please. Is there anything in the G-3 that can be used in the iMac? The Zif?

I am also looking for a reasonable super drive.

Thanks,
Terrie
