Just to get this out the way "I'm an idiot and I always shoot myself in the foot at the first opportunity" - that's better.
I've just bought a 350 B&W G3. It worked fine until I took it apart to clean the large amount of dust and fluff out of it. At one point I removed the Video card, which I think has caused a problem since I now get no video when I boot it! It's the standard Rage 128 card.
It boots fine - I can hear it go through the boot process and it can be shut down by pressing the power button and then enter. I tried:
* Re-seating the video card (again) * Resetting the PRAM * Removing the power cord and PRAM battery for >10 minutes
I know that the monitor works (just tested it with my PC). It was running panther, but it has a smaller drive in it with OS 9 on it. I think it now boots OS 9 when I turn it on because of the PRAM reset.
Any suggestions?
James.
