Hi,

anyone know or know how to find out the minimum system
requirements to run imovie 1? If one is not getting the data from the
camera but from another Mac does one need firewire or would ethernet be
enough? The person this is for is taking a class using imovie and
already has a Mac at school but wants to do some work at home.
TIA,

I think 300 mhz G3 is the minimum speed required but I'm not sure the program
actually checks. I don't think iMovie 1 looks for a firewire bus, certainly not
a camera, when it is loaded. It doesn't care where the files come from as long
as they are in the correct format.

I could be wrong, but I think you'd be ok.
