Someone mentioned some time ago on this list that I could use my NEC Superscript 870 laser printer with my beige G3. How is this accomplished with the Mac not having a parallel port? I do seem to recall a cable that would go from the Mac's serial port that had a standard parallel port connection on the other end, is this what is used to do this?
Maybe PowerPrint. It's a serial->parallel cable plus a CD full of drivers. http://www.gdt.com
Another possibility, if there are drivers available, is to use someting like an Axis Print Server.
