We have a G4 - 500 Sawtooth at work acting as our server. We have a

I think this is a job for Disk Warrior. DW specializes in repairing
directory structure problems. Worse case it may be time to backup what you
can and write zeros to the drive.

From some reading, I understand there is a data loss problem
associated with B&Ws Rev 1 and G4-Yikes, but I can't find any
reference to it on the sawtooth.

Your G4 is not affected by the "slave drive" issue that the G3 B&W had.

Is this a documented problem on the Sawtooth and is there a fix for it?

I read lowendmac.com's write-up about your Sawtooth:

http://www.lowendmac.com/ppc/g4saw.shtml

and didn't see anything about your issue being machine specific. I think
it's more hard drive specific than anything else.

Thanks,

Glenn
