From some reading, I understand there is a data loss problem associated with B&Ws Rev 1 and G4-Yikes, but I can't find any reference to it on the sawtooth.
Your G4 is not affected by the "slave drive" issue that the G3 B&W had.

and didn't see anything about your issue being machine specific. I think
it's more hard drive specific than anything else.
