I was wondering if there was to put 2 GB's of ram in a Quicksilver G4.
First, could the machine even support that much memory. (The manual says 1.5
GB is the Max.) If so, I know the machine takes PC 133 memory. Does anybody
even make a 1GB PC 133 Ram chip. I'm 90% sure the answer is no. Just want to
verify before I go to the boss.
There is such a thing as a 1.0GB PC 133 stick, but it's ECC memory for use in servers. I don't think the Mac would recognize it at all?
Your pretty much limited to 3 512k sticks of standard PC 133 memory.
