Don't hold your breath. I don't think Apple is going to release a G5 upgrade till June. At best it will be 2.4 or 2.6 GHz. It's pretty obvious by now that Apple will not make the year one year promise of getting 3 GHz G5's on the market. Safe bet would be early next year.
