Do you have a copy Adobe Acrobat Professional? I use it all the time to translate Word Documents to PDF. I haven't tried to do it the other way though. You cal also edit a PDF document with Adobe Illustrator. There is also a 3rd party solution called PDF2office. The reviews are on it, are ok, but it does cost $129. Worth checking out.
