Wiretap rocks.  I've used it to record internet radio via iTunes and burned
the sessions onto CD.  Sounds great whether on a CD or in my iPod (then
again it also depends on the quality of the transmission).  I believe the
program saves the sessions as WAV files so they can get fairly large in
size.  As well this program records the audio being played through your Mac
so any alarms, beeps, etc coming from the Mac will be recorded along with
whatever you are recording.
