I'm running a B&W G3/300 with a OWC Mercury G4/500 in the ZIF slot. Before I bought the CPU upgrade, the memory that came with the computer (I bought it second hand) seemed to work fine, but with the G4 the system is unstable unless I only have the new RAM I bought from OWC... Now are there any free memory test programs out there so I can find out which of the old sticks is actually bad? Or is it just a trial and error process usually (put in a couple, boot up, see long you last?) I tried running memtest-2.95 but that didn't show me any errors in a number of RAM configurations (though supposedly it can't test the highest and lowest segments of memory)... ideas? Thanks...
