What is this thing?
I bought a used G4 Yikes and it had a PCI card that the seller said was another video card (it has the standard ATI video card). That's all he knew.
Out of the back of the box it shows a DB-62 connector. On the card there is a Centronics 10 connector. There's a small red digital display on the top of the card.
The System Profile info says:

Card name - pci117d,8018
card model - Not available
Vendor ID - 117d
Device ID - 8018
Rom# - Not available
Revision - 1

Whatsit?
Will I need it someday?
Will someone pay me thousands of dollars to get this for their very own?
