It's one of the kits Apple/Macintosh had available for a short time to

the Verax kit, so I thought I'd try it.
The Apple replacement kits were a limited time replacement, however, they are around. Many MDD owners, even those who had already used the Verax solutions, went ahead and bought their eligible kit anyway. From time to time, they do show up on eBay and the swap list. If your main noise objection is the constant high pitched whine from the original 400w Acbell power supply? You'll be pleased with the Apple kit.
You can download the instructions for installing the kit, as a PDF, in english, off the Apple support web site.
