Casio QV11 digital camera has a "digital" port which would take a male mini-stereo headphone type connecter. The camera came with two cables; first has a male end that looks like a mini-stereo headphone connector; the other end is a VGA connector. This connects to another cable with VGA connector to an end that goes into the modem port of my G3/300. I'd like to run this camera output into a machine with firewire and USB inputs. Any adapters I can use, either straight from the female mini-stereo type port on the camera or through the VGA-type connector?
That connector is a DE-9 serial connector not a VGA. It is a standard serial connector used in the Win-Hell world. You can buy a USB to serial adapter that has this connector. Keyspan makes one IIRC.
