So a couple months ago, there was some good advice on how to receive Word X documents on webmail interfaces- the problem being that the webmail interfaces only see the first of the 2 attachments, and the first one is not the actual Word doc so everyone thinks the file is corrupt- although it is not- it's an icon file that Word is trying to open as a .doc, and you can never get to download the actual .doc attachment.
I have put this info to good use; now one or two faculty that have new OS X laptops, and Word X, want to know how they can SEND Word attachments to anyone, and know that if the person happens to be using a webmail interface, they will be able to read it.
Avoid Word? isn't really a solution. Print to PDF and send that? Other thoughts on this? I don't see Pipeline or iPlanet (Sun) changing their webmail anytime soon so that it can handle multiple attachments w/ the same name...
Thanks,
Brian
