Something happened that caused my 10.3.4 drive to become invisible in os 9,
though it appears fine if I boot from another os X system.  

Result is I can't boot from that drive since if 9 can't see it, XPostFacto can't
boot it.

The old os 9 utilities, including Hard Drive Speed Tools (an old version) and
the Apple Drive 
Set Up want to reformat the drive.

How do I fix this?
