After I tried for half an hour to get Toast 6's Spin Doctor helper app to run (it kept claiming that Toast 6 was not present), I gave up in disgust and shut down the computer and went away for awhile. When I came back and fired up the Mac again, I tried to launch Spin Doctor one more time, and this time it opened up and ran!

I wrote the list for help too soon! Please disregard my previous message. I don't know why shutting the Mac down and starting it up again should have fixed the problem (Lucy! You got some 'splainin" to do!) but it did fix it, so I'm not complaining. I'm just feeling kind of foolish.

I notice some of you guys here mentioning that you use Toast Titanium 6. Well, I just bought a copy of it and installed it on my G-4 733 running OS 10.3.3, and Toast 6 will now open up and run all right, but of the 3 helper apps that come along with it called Discus, CD Spin Doctor 2, and Motion Pictures, the latter two won't launch. Every time I try to run them, a message comes up that says "This application requires Toast 6 Titanium or later to run on your system. The application will now quit." Meanwhile Toast Titanium 6 is running the whole time.

So how come the apps don't see Toast 6, even though it's present and running? I went to the Roxio site and downloaded the latest updater and updated Toast to 6.0.5, thinking that might fix it, but it made no difference. Spin Doctor and Motion Pictures still insist that they need Toast 6 to run, even while it is running.

Anybody else run into this, and if so, were you able to fix it somehow?
