OK I give up...
I have a G3 333MHz MT with OS 9.2
Sometime ago I added a USB card to the computer and the other day I hooked up my handspring to the card and tried to HotSyns the PDA...
My PDA tells me 'the connection between the PDA and the MT could not be extablished"
I have checked the software ...both the Palm software and apple's USB software ...both are OK and 9.2 supports USB cards
My System profiler shows a USB card in PCI slot B1 (the vender ID is 1045 and the card name is pci1045,c861 ...but it show nothing connected to it ...is the card dead or what?
The Mac OS installer only installs the driver for a PCI USB card if there is a USB card installed at the time or if you manually select it to be installed. Otherwise you need to either install it manually later or use Apple's standalone installer.
