I guess my previous question wasn't detailed enough. The latest G4 Powerbooks have a 4200 rpm Ultra ATA hard drive. My question was is this drive fast enough to capture video from a camcorder? I understand faster is better and G5 Macs come with 7200 rpm drives but Apple advertises that Powerbooks are fine for working with video. Does the Ultra ATA designation mean they are fast enough? The G5 hard drive is called a Serial ATA drive.
