The Beige's modem plugs into the "Spkr.-Mic." or "Wings" card. It's the same as the Comm II slot card in the 54/55/64/6500-series. The modem for the B&W is enclosed in a long, skinny sheet-metal housing and plugs into the mobo, directly via a ribbon cable. Hope that helps.
