This is very borderline to being off topic. I will however give you the answer that you seek, hopefully with out offending either you or our Mac list members. Yes it is possible. However you need to google search for subjects including networking a PC, Server languages and control, IP addressing, and firewalls. I work on and with PC's everyday as part of my business, but I use , own , and love Macs for the very reason you are asking your question. Windows seems to make tasks , that most Mac owners tend to take for granted, as difficult as is possible to accomplish. If you can share with a Mac , with no problems, why would you want to torture yourself with the pain of the process that the windows machine puts you through trying to share with it ? No I am not down on windows ( they make me a decent living fixing them ) I just love the pleasures that my Macs give me.
