There are no supported options for adding an antenna to an iBook. There may be some kludges people have come up with. You could do it with a USB or wired Ethernet interface. Of course that makes for a rather cumbersome arrangement. I suppose one option would be a wireless relay device, if they can take an antenna.


Don't forget to try moving the laptop around the room and changing it's orientation to get the best signal.

Get closer to the base station, you should see a difference.

At 80' from the base station, though, 3 bars is good reception in a typical environment.

At 80' even with nothing between the base station and laptop 3 bars is doing pretty good.
