Thanks Tracy that's exactly what I was wondering, it would be really great if you could test this out for me and let me know how you set it up.
TIA

I'm not sure if this was answering your question. I've been looking to get
the airport express for music to another room and since it's backordered I
can't test it for what you're asking.

I think you want to plug your G3BW to the ethernet outlet on the AP express
and use that to access your airport router (avoiding a bridge or something).
And I believe that will work because the express is supposed to work as an
airport extender; I have a G3BW and could test it if I could get my hands on
one of these jobbies. I had an order with apple because they said they were
shipping but it was actually not going to ship for a month so I cancelled;
then the same thing happened with cdw today. Gotta wait a week, I guess.

Let me know if you want me to test it and let you know....in about 2 weeks.

You won't be able to use Apple's fancy little AirPort card on the B&W,
you'll have to find another Mac compatible 802.11g card. Something
like:

that should work, but I'm just using it as an example. I would
recommend getting something from a better manufacturer.

I want to connect a B&W G3 to my Airport network at home, would I be
able to use the ethernet port on an Airport Express to do this? Could
I just connect it directly or would I need a hub/switch in between?
Apple don't seem to say much about this on their website.
Thanks
