Hello Low End fellows, I use a G3/350 with a Sonnet G4/500 ZIF upgrade and would like to get aG4/1Ghz Sonnet ZIF. My Questions:
1. I�ve read that the bus speed will be reduced to 66Mhz, does anybody know how this effects on the overall speed? 2. I've also read that the firmware of my G4/500 ZIF and the ZIF card itself have to be uninstalled and the old G3/350 ZIF processor has to be installed ( that's bad because I sold it via eBay) Is there anyone who has made the change to a G4/1Ghz in a G3/350 BW?
