Thank you all -- I am overwhelmed by the number of
responses. My situation is that my Laserwriter IINTX
is hooked up to my main computer, which accesses the
internet through a schoolwide ethernet network. At
the end of the last school year, I was given two
additional AIO computers. I am able to network them
though the classroom ethernet connections. I had my
main computer connected to the printer using the
phonenet connectors, but I broke a pin on one of the
connectors when taking down and setting up the system
at the end of the year. My goal is get all the
computers, which can now all share files over the
network, to be able to print to the Laserwriter. Some
of you have mentioned that there is a faster way to
print through the network bypassing the phonenet
cables. I am all ears. What hardware do I need? What
are the costs? Where can I purchase it? Or should I
just simply stay with the phonenet appletalk
connectors?
Thanks again for all your help.
