ok. thanks to everyone who responded. so the general concensus is - don't even try to do video on a g3 tower or even bother to upgrrade it.
in regards to installing os x (v.1?) on this machine i guess it's a lost cause too. i can't make it do anything (it now boots up looking for a disk) and it seems everyone had problems with the first version. so all in all, i'll guess keep my eyes open for a g4 (no YIKES). thanks again. ray b. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
