Hello,
I am having trouble with Real Player 8 in OS 9 on a G4 400 sawtooth. It was working fine until I cloned the hard drive (using carbon copy cloner in os X). I am not sure if the cloning operation caused the problem or not; it may just be a coincident.
When I click on a real audio link, real player opens, and stays in "connecting" mode for some time. Eventually it times out and gives me an error message that the link is not working. I can't even connect to the real player channels.
I have un-installed and reinstalled the player several times with no luck.
Can anyone suggest a solution? Or better yet, a different program that plays real audio?

Thanks,
David
