I have a similar 9GB IBM SCSI HD in my PPC 9600 on the internal SCSI bus which works just fine as long as the SCSI ID numbers are set correctly and the termination is set correctly. I believe that the overall bus speed will be that of the slowest drive on the bus, but someone more knowledgeable than I may want to correct that statement if it's not correct. Best wishes, Don
