Hi ALL, Am going crazy with internet audio problems. Everything was fine 'till a few days ago. I need audio for my work. Suggestions most welcome.
MAC G3 - OS 9.1 Problems with WMP and Real Player: WMP 7.1 - will not come up when I click on a hot WMP link. It will play - very well - if I have the URL to insert. Have re-installed several times and changed the preference "Network" settings many times. The WMP Plug-in is in. Zapped the PRAM. Rebuilt the desktop. Ran Disk Doctor, Norton's and Tech Tools. NOTHING makes it come to the front when called. REAL PLAYER PLUS 8.0 - VERY soft sound. Almost no volume. Have re-installed several times. Have checked all the MAC sound controls and RP sound controls. Nothing makes the sound level rise. The sound is OK with WMP, WinAmp, MAC sounds etc. But - almost non-existant with RP. These problems did not appear together. I do not think they are related to some same "happening" WMP started days ago. RP problem kicked in yesterday. Driving me crazy. I need internet audio for my work. Any suggestions are mosst welcome. Other than doing a complete reformat - I'm out of ideas.
