Hi All,

So I've installed the DIVX plug-in so I can play avi encoded movies on my G4 APG but it does not seem to want to play DIVX encoded movies. Any suggestions?

In a similar vein there are WMV movies I try to play on my G4 APG that when I try to open them turn on my browser and a page says, "Windows Media Update. In order to play this file, you need to upgrade your media player to a version compatible with Windows Media Rights Manager V7. Select View Compatible Players below to see list of compatible media players." So, I click on "View compatible Players," and it goes to a page where I do not see what I think I need. I'm using Windows Media Player 9.

And lastly sometimes I try to play movies that have a Quicktime icon but a warning screen comes up saying that Quicktime needs another plug-in which is not available. That is a similar message to the one I use to get before I installed the avi plug-in. Is there another codec plug-in for Quicktime and where do I find it?

Thannks all,

Anand Keathley
