Hi all

ok here is my problem.

i will soon be receiving a g3 266 imac and i want to add it to my home
network but it must be wireless. I know that the imac can take an airport
card internally , but i think that this option is for the later models than
the one i am getting. so is there any 3rd party bits that i could use.

I already have a home network in the form of laptops all connected to a
netgear wireless base station/router, connected to a cable modem. i use the
orinoco gold cards for the laptops. and i was wondering weather anyone has
used the (Agere Wireless USB Network) as it is an orinoco product really and
it is usb doe's this or could this work on an imac as a solution to my
problem as the imac has built in usb 1.1 .

Or is there another path i could take like a usb card reader and a compact
flash wireless card.

TIA for any advice or if anyone has the solution (because they already have
the set up) I will be greatful

vicki
