Ron, the battery is about the same size as a AA battery, but about half as long and you should find it on the motherboard in a little cage. If memory serves it is near the jumper block on the beige/aio motherboard. I'm fairly new to Mac's as well having used PC's all my life. I still use the PC's too, but enjoy futzing around with Mac's as well. As for Normand's comment, I would like him to show me the power switch on the keyboard of my iMac or LCIII for that matter!
