IIRC from my Beige G3, when I installed Jaguar (the first OSX I could
get to work on it as it was highly modded) that was the last I saw of
the internal floppy drive, which I didn't miss much anyway. Oddly
enough, it would see an external USB floppy (at a glacial pace), but
not the internal. Strange, but the good news is that external floppy
drives are cheap these days.
