Where is a good place to look for Low End PC's?
I had exactly the same problem and VPC wasn't cutting it for me on my beige so I watched Ebay and found someone locally I could buy a peecee from and emailed him to make sure I could pick it up to avoid shipping costs.
I paid $30 for a Compaq PIII 500 box and I put Win2000 on it and it works fine. I even get to play some old games that are cheap now and were never released for the Mac.
It's not a Mac but it serves it's purpose.......
