When instructed to check mail Eudora 6.1.1 continues to come back with "-ERR Invalid userid/password".
Just prior to the message it says "Adjusting to broken Imail" if that means anything.
This is a fresh, "first time" install from a fresh down load on my B&W G3/300 upgraded to 900mhz with OS 9.1.
As per a previous suggestion I removed and trashed all Eudora anything on my drive before loading anew.
This Eudora will send but not receive email. I have double checked all of my entries and initiated logging. Here is what the log reads:

On the advise of my ISP tech support I have made sure the user-id, password, and sending and receiving servers are all correct. I have made sure that all SSL options are set to 'None'. I have turned off Norton AV.
I have experienced this same problem on 2 B&Ws. I am afraid to try putting Eudora 6.1 on my 8500.
I do not plan to purchase Eudora since all we use it for is sending and receiving email at home. Eudora won't provide Tech support unless you buy it.
I had Eudora 5.1 which ran ok until I tried to update it, Thats what I am using on my other B&W G3 to send this.
If we can't solve this I'll have to junk Eudora and will need suggestions as to other Email programs. (As long as they are not Micro Sloth products).
TIA,
Tom Saecker
