Might be worth looking at for XP as well if you want
konfabulator style addons.

Eh ?!?

First, my bad, it's stardocK, not stardoc. http://www.stardock.com/

Part of their windowblinds suite is object desktop. It provideds a
system for making konfabulator style desktop 'widgets' on any
windows system. Without knowing the start date of Konfabulator, I
am fairly certain that object desktop (and it's precursor, active
desktop by MS) predate Konfabulator.

P.S. Before a list-admin jumps on me for this thread, I will
add that it in aid of me building an Intel based B&W G3
cased computer.

What about the original motherboadr & bits ?! It'll go straight
into my old Macintosh II case!!

I don't know what's cooler, the best looking B&W PC ever or
a Macintosh II running OS X with firewire and all.... :o)

If I could get my hands on a G4 cube, my SE/30 would be hopped up the day after receipt. As it is now, I'm thinking of cheating, going mATX or mITX PC motherboard, and use PearPC. If someone gets OS X booting on a Gensai PPC mATX motherboard, that gives me a more direct route. I still say Apple should beat me to the punch, and come out with a black SE case based all in one, with a dual G4 setup, high res 10" TFT, and chrome accents... Maybe carbon fiber instead of plain gloss black...
