Any Hollywood DV Bridge users out there?

I bought a Hollywood DV Bridge off ebay and while it works well in 
programs like BTV, it crashes regularly in iMovie (OS X) on my B&W upped 
to G4-500. It might go three minutes, it might go five or more minutes.

I have tried the external grounding fix for this unit, and it improved 
things a little, but this still takes place.

Any ideas? I would really like to do my capturing in iMovie.
