What isolated part of Canada are you living in? Here in Victoria I had *at

Short term memory? Our "Conservativie" and "Alliance" parties merged in
the attempt to avoid right-wing vote splitting. If that becomes a trend
the number of parties will shrink. Of course then, being Canadian,
someone else will come along and start up a party "more representative of
the people". I've forgotten how the US Political party system started.

Ummm....who exactly would you say we're renting our country from??? Funny,
but I thought we owned it, warts and all.
