You don't need a PC to do this. Just get a copy of Toast with CD Spin Doctor. I use this all the time to record my 12" singles and cassette mix tapes, I did back in the days when I was a DJ. You'll need a good pre-amp for the Turntable, but other than that you can plug right into you Mac and use the Doctor to digitalize your Vinyl.
