sorry, i usually do trim post.

as for top posting, i'm well aware of the rfc but it's my preference and custom to top
post and i find bottom posting much harder to read. why? with top posting, you read
the
subject and if you've been following the thread read the latest reply, with bottom
posting
you have to scroll down what you already know and the excess text others haven't
trimmed
from their post.

as for long lines, most email programs do have an option to wrap long lines. i do
this on
purpose so that the lines are only wrapped once, if i wrap them and the readers program
wraps them then they are truly ugly (and this to has been hashed out many times on many
list and been aimed at many people, i do things the way i like, if you don't like my
style
either grin and bear it or ignore me). try setting all of your' preferences. let's
not
get nasty now, i'm usually very, very good about editing replies.

for truly long replies i reply inline which makes the most sense on complex threads,
frankly i see no advantage to bottom posting, and i know the arguments, i just don't
agree
with them and find the idea "unnatural" which in this case is a negative.

Republicans don't seem to realize that they are no longer individual members of
a coherent "party," but are merely part of a mean-spirited and dangerous
movement that is threatening to sweep away democracy as we know it.
