Flakey Airport Card

I was finally able to locate an original Airport card for our dual 1 gig 
G4.  It is 'used'.  It connects to the airport base station.....it's an 
airport extreme, but every time that it wakes up it has to log back on and 
sometimes can't find the network at all.  Is there a resourse where I can 
find a bit of help on this matter?
The two other computers on the airport network both have airport extreme 
cards and they play nicely.
