Hey all, I am new to the G3. I recently came into possession of a g3/266 off of ebay. Fired it up and get the ? mark on startup. I'm pretty sure I heard the HD spin up. Hrmmmm. Inserted a 9.0.4 imac restore cd, -->stock 6gb hd not on desktop, I go under "startup disk" and the only disk option is the startup cd. New pram battery didn't help. /:-Z Ideas, suggestions are welcomed. Jason
Is the Drive Setup utility in your CD? First thing I'd do is run that, hoping it would see the HD. Then initialize it.
