I recently replaced my Pioneer A04 with an A05 and when trying to make copies of my childrens educational CD's (Reader Rabbit, JunpStart, etc.), which are all MAC/PC Hybrids I get the following message:
The drive reported an error Sense Key = ILLEGAL REQUEST Sense Code = 0x72, 0x03 SESSION FIXATION ERROR - INCOMPLETE TRACK IN SESSION The resulting disc is no good, because it never finalizes the disc. I'm using Toast 6.07. I have no problems burning DVD's or Audio CD's. When I swap the A05 for the A04, everything burns fine. Now, here's something else to add to my confusion. Last night I tried using a CDRW (in the A05) and quess what. NO ERROR. Does this seem to be a hardware problem or possibly a media problem? If the CDRW had given me an error, I would have quessed hardware but now I might waht to try another brand.
