You will want to keep the rev.2 for Slave drive support but you can add more drives to a DT case.Greetings, I have a G3 DT that I would like to move into a G3 MT. The MT is a Rev. 1 and the DT is Rev. 3. What do I need to do to make changes? I want to be able to use an additional drive, that is why I want to use the MT. Both have 266MHz processors.
Thanks, Lee
One will fit under the Zip slot and in the Zip slot if you don't have the Zip drive. There is also room to mount a drive to the side of the case where the PCI slots are
located. Just mount it to the inside of the metal case towards the front of the case from the PCI slots.
Or if the G3MT is ok, just swap the ROM chip from the DT into the MT and you can have a master/slave drive set-up.
