I picked up a Canon CanoScan 3000ex today. It has no drivers for OSX, but I
figured that since it was USB and OSX is so smart, I could just plug it in
and scan away...no dice. When I open Image Capture, it says 'no devices
detected'. Is there any way I can make it see this or do I have to take it
back and get a different scanner?

I just need a cheap scanner, I don't need one very often, but occasionally
and I got this one for $49. I figured since it was USB and would probably
use TWAIN or something, I wouldn't need OSX specific drivers. Seems like
everything else I hook up to it, it just works.
