Dan,
Didn't think about that either! Still learning X here. Tried launching ImageCapture.. Doing so with the camera plugged in give me the 'no device' message.. Same if I start the program and then plug in the camera.. Checked the connections at both ends of the camera..
I would think the usb port is good, the second port on the card has my trackman plugged into it which is working, and also, when the data cable is plugged into the camera, the read light will come on as well as the initial startup beep that it always does..

For digital cameras I've used w/ OS X plugging in the camera to the USB port launches iPhoto for the importing. Try opening Image Capture (in the Applications folder). Choose Preferences... and make sure the Camera setting is to open iPhoto when a camera is attached. You might also check in System Profiler to make sure the Mac sees the camera on the USB bus.
Hope this helps. Dan

Listers,
I'm pulling my hair out here.. I have a cheapy DNT G4-SD
digital/usb camera.. That under os 9.2.2 would simply mount when plugged
in and I could browse the pics.
But now that I've upgraded to 10.2, I plug the cam in and
nothing.. nada.. Boot into classic.. nada.. Reboot into 9.2.2, same same..
Googling has shown me that DNT only makes windows drivers.. and I've
been to MacUpdate to try some of the generic drivers that are avail
there.. And still nothing...
UGGGH, Does anyone have any ideas on how I could get this to work?
Or a driver from another cam that would do the trick?
