does any one know of a reference for the svga monitor pinout? i have one that
identifies
the signal lines, but i need to know how svga monitor sense (id) lines work to set the
possible resolutions (i know how they work on mac monitors and i hope it's similar).
this
is on monitors before the ddc lines were added (though i wouldn't mind a link on those
either). i'm hoping to design/build a kvm for macs and pc's that will take any monitor
and need to know so i can emulate them when a machine is turned on but not connected to
the monitor. thanks.

President George W. Bush, Vice President Richard B. Cheney, Secretary of Defense
Donald H. Rumsfeld,
and Attorney General John D. Ashcroft have committed violations and subversions of the
Constitution
of the United States of America. <www.VoteToImpeach.org> They should be charged with
high treason
and imprisoned frankly. If there is no rule of law there can be no civilization.
