Hello,
I was recently given a G3 600 IBook and an airport base station that I am now playing with. The airport is hooked into my home network which includes a DSL modem, a kinksys wireless router. The airport base station is plugged into the wrieless rounter. The IBook has a 10.2 system partition and a 9.2.2 system partition. After a reboot I lose the internet connection in 10.2, but not in the system 9 partion. Am I configuring the 10.2 partiton incorrectly?
Yes.
Any suggestions?
Network preferences pane, make sure the airport is set up properly, and that is the default connection.(when you go into Network prefs, drop the list to "Show Network Port Configurations" Drag the airport to the top.)
Also, is it possible to hook an IBook to a video projector for powerpoints?
Yes, you may need an adapter, depending on the model iBook. It's also limited to mirroring what's on the screen.
