Subject: Re: Installing PS in G4 tower

Here's a follow-up question.
Could I take the PS from my 450 B&W and stick it in the G4 Sawtooth
tower?
The B&W is working fine, but I don't mind breaking it up for parts in
order to save my G4.
TIA

Jim

Well the pinout of the power supplies on the B&W and Sawtooth are the
same the B&W power supply is less powerful. Depending on the number of
hard drives, the video card, and if you have or plan to get an processor
upgrade card, you could probably get by with the B&W power supply.
Though I would recommend getting a Sawtooth power supply or modding a
ATX power supply.
