Er, uh, what I am trying to say is, I would like to
clean install 9.2.2 on a G3/266.
I see on ebay that there are many imac&emac 9.2.2 cds
that the sellers claim will do a full install of OS
9.2.2 on all G3and above machines(imac or not)--and
they seem to sell for a lot less than the universal
os9 install cds.
Am I missing something here?
The full install CDs will work. Just make sure the machine they came from is NEWER than your Mac.
And, of course, make sure your Mac is licensed for that version software. Otherwise, you're no longer just buying media - you're commitin that there piracy thing arrrr.
