I have a Graphite G4 AGP, 350 MHz, with several harddrives. Is it OK to install OSX on more than one drive? Will that confuse the Mac or will they all show up cleanly in the Startup Disk control panel?

The reason is that I need to try some OSX install CDs that gave trouble on another machine

I have had multiple OS's on every Mac I have had that had more than 1 hard drive. Just liked the ability to start up from another source if need be. Apple does not recommend this practice and my G4 has given me trouble which their technicians blame on the multiple OS's.

If you don't have a particular reason to employ multiple OS's you will likely be better off by not having more than one (OS X that is). I know, it's a do as I say not as I do scenario, but I will soon be backing up my stuff and repartitioning a couple of drives to escape the problems that have occurred.
